The Tsuut’ina Nation’s Sportsplex facility was completed in 2019 and houses a 5,000 person capacity multipurpose Pow Wow Community Hall, a 400 person capacity Ice Rink, a second 1,985 seat Ice Ring, a covered Outdoor Rink, a Fitness Centre, a Dance Studio, Offices, Retail Spaces, and a suspended Running Track.
The opening ceremony as well as all the fights will take place here.

All countries who need a Visa for Canada must go to the Canadian Embassy in their country.
It is very important to start with the VISA process as soon as possible to avoid any unfortunate circumstances.
In case any official document is required, WKUWORLD will assist providing an invitation to the country representative or to the fighters accordingly.

Welcome to the World Championships 2023 in Calgary: It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to Calgary, Canada for the 2023 World Championship. The World Championships 2023 is our premium tournament for the disciplines of Forms, Karate Kumite, Pointfighting, Light Contact, Kick-Light, Full Contact, and Kickboxing with Lowkicks. The strongest women and men of modern and traditional martial arts will challenge the finest fights of the world. As representatives of your respective countries, your hard work, dedication, and relentless pursuit of excellence to prepare your teams for this event are truly admirable. We are honored to have you here in Calgary, and we wish you and your athletes the very best in your pursuit of the world championship titles.
